I'm currently helping an organisation to recruit a Marketing Assistant.
The role attracted applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and with a wealth of different experiences.
It should have been difficult to come up with a shortlist of who would be invited to interview. But some candidates made it too easy for us to put them in the reject pile.
Here are some of the reasons:
We are really pleased with the candidates shortlisted for interview and we are confident the final decision on who to recruit will be very difficult.
However, if only more job-seekers would proofread, or even get someone else to check over their applications before submitting them, their chances of getting to interview would be so much greater.
